Four Somerset West police officers were recognised for two decades of service during a parade at Bishop Lavis Police College last Thursday (25 June).
Sergeants Luncedo Gqokoma, Jeremy Fourie, Elton Isaacs and Juan Fourie received their 20-year service medals at the ceremony, presided over by outgoing provincial police commissioner Lieutenant-General Thembisile Patekile.
Officers who have served 20, 30 and 40 years were awarded medals, while others were promoted and presented with their new ranks.
