The match started at high intensity, with both teams showing physical intent from the outset. St George’s took early control of the scoreboard, capitalising on penalties to build a 9-7 lead at half-time. Despite the narrow deficit, All Saints stayed in contention thanks to a crucial converted try.

After the break, the Olla Boys emerged with renewed energy and purpose. Their forward pack began asserting dominance, laying a solid platform for the backline to attack. Sustained pressure eventually paid off as the home side crossed the try-line to take the lead.

With momentum firmly on their side, All Saints controlled the tempo in the second half. Their defence tightened significantly, shutting down the Lulu Boys’ attacking efforts and preventing them from adding to their first-half tally.

The turning point came midway through the second half when the Olla Boys capitalised on field position and discipline, extending their lead with another well-worked try. From there, they never looked back, adding further points to seal a comprehensive derby victory.

The Lulus showed determination throughout but were unable to break through the resolute All Saints defence in the second half. Ultimately, the hosts overturned their half-time deficit to claim local bragging rights with a dominant 24-9 triumph.
