The spirit of youth football will come alive on 6 and 7 December as the Breede Valley Local Football Association (BVLFA) hosts its much anticipated Junior Tournament at the Zwelethemba Stadium.

This two-day event will showcase some of the most talented young footballers from clubs across the Breede Valley area, bringing teams in four age categories, u-11, u-13, u-15 and u-17 together.

Organisers say the tournament aims to promote development, sportsmanship and unity among local youth while giving budding football stars a platform to shine. It is all about giving children an opportunity to display their skills and passion for the game. The association said it is seeing incredible talent growing in communities.

Spectators can look forward to a weekend filled with thrilling matches, community spirit and the infectious energy of young sportspeople chasing their dreams. Families, friends and supporters are encouraged to come out in numbers to cheer the teams on and make this a memorable event for the young players.
