Youth invited to discovery camp

The West Coast will host its first-ever Abundant Life (ABL) Junior & Teens Camp from 28 to 30 August at the Dwarskersbos Holiday Resort and Caravan Park.

The camp, hosted by Mumtaz Limitless in partnership with Abundant Life, aims to inspire young people through leadership development, personal growth, faith-based teaching and interactive activities.

The theme for the camp is ‘Read, Believe, Become’, encouraging children and teenagers to discover their identity, purpose and potential.

Organisers say the weekend promises to be a life-changing experience where learners will have the opportunity to build confidence, make new friends and enjoy a variety of fun activities in a safe and uplifting environment.

The camp is open to all learners from Grades 4 to 10 and will include accommodation, meals, a T-shirt and all activities.

Guest speakers will include Heino Torlage and the ABL Team, who will lead sessions focused on motivation, leadership and personal development.

According to organisers, the camp also aims to encourage positive values and equip young people with tools to face everyday challenges with confidence and hope.

The cost for the camp is R847 per learner.

Parents and guardians interested in registering their children can contact the organisers at 081 026 8176 or via email at admin@mumtazlimitless.org.

Organisers believe the camp will become an annual highlight for West Coast youth and hope to create a platform where young people can grow spiritually, emotionally and socially while forming lasting friendships.
