Kroonstad will come alive as the Ignite and Revive Christian Festival launches a powerful three-day spiritual journey, from 29 tot 31 August, offering a free, life-changing experience for community members of all ages.

The festival kicks off with specially curated productions catering to both children and adults, ensuring engaging content for all attendees. The ATKV will present performances aimed at inspiring and uplifting participants through meaningful storytelling.

Headlining the event are two extraordinary motivational speakers who will breathe life into the festival’s mission.

Andries Vermeulen, a dynamic speaker, singer, and storyteller, will share his unique blend of humor, faith and personal testimony. His powerful message of hope and victory resonates through his own life experiences, promising to touch hearts and inspire people.

Joining Vermeulen is John Ed Honiball, a speaker renowned for his candid and accessible approach to spiritual storytelling.

Through personal testimonies of crisis and recovery, Honiball offers a raw and authentic perspective on faith that connects deeply with audiences.

Come and listen to the two speakers between 09:00 and 11:00 on Saturday morning. Attendance is free.

Visitors can look forward to a relaxed Saturday afternoon allowing them to spend time in the tea garden, enjoy eats at the food stalls, or participate in family-friendly entertainment − all creating perfect opportunities for community connection.

The Saturday evening promises a particularly moving experience, with Rusty Labuschagne sharing his journey. Having spent ten years wrongfully imprisoned in Zimbabwe, Labuschagne’s testimony of transformation and hope is expected to be a festival centrepiece.

Throne Room and Jo Black will close the evening with powerful praise and worship performances, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The event will be held at the Kroonstad Cell Church in Reitz Street, Kroonstad. Admission is free for everyone, and bookings are essential due to limited space. Those interested can book at https://forms.gle/zrEc

The festival organisers emphasise the event’s potential to bring hope, healing and unity to the local community, offering a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and connection.
