In support of Mandela Day, celebrated annually on 18 July, the Voortrekker High School in Bethlehem hosted a 67 Minutes of Kindness campaign. The learners and staff of Voortrekker decided that, instead of running a community project as is traditionally the contribution of choice, they would on this day rather focus on kindness towards their fellow man. Kindness towards others was a top priority for former Pres. Nelson Mandela. Learners also embraced the opportunity to share slogans that Mandela used throughout his life to remind themselves to always be kind to one another. Photo: Supplied
