As the countdown begins, with just over a month left, the Ignite and Revive Christian Festival stands on the brink of bringing a transformative spiritual experience to the Kroonstad community. This year the festival promises to be more than just an event – it is a movement of hope, healing and community restoration.
Friday, 29 August, marks the official launch of the festival that organisers are calling a “divine intervention” for the community. With the powerful theme “Choose. Declare. Bring Back the Hope,” inspired by Joshua 24:15, the festival aims to reignite passion and purpose; a rebuilding of communities through faith and unity.

Youth activation (14:00-15:00):
A bold call to the youth of Kroonstad sounds in the afternoon with Pastor Henry Rossouw leading a dynamic praise and worship experience. Titled “One Voice. One Generation. One God,” this prophetic session will challenge high school learners to rise in courage, purity and purpose.
Family fun (14:00-18:00):
Something for everyone! From adrenaline-pumping activities paintball to the crowd-favorite “Smash a Car” challenge, families will find joy, laughter, and connection. The children’s fun zone will be operational throughout the weekend with jumping castles and much more. Don’t miss out on the food stalls and tea garden where you can find all your favorite food and treats.
Evening worship celebration (18:00-22:00):
Friday evening ignites with a multi-generational worship session hosted by Rev. Pieter Mohr van Niekerk. The program features the Activated Band – a youth movement on fire for Jesus – along with the uplifting voices of Ilán van Staden and Ruan Josh, who will minister through music and testimony.
