Public asked to identify person of interest in Bethlehem robbery


BETHLEHEM – The police in Bethlehem are appealing for public assistance to identify a person of interest linked to a robbery that occurred in December last year.

The incident took place on High Street, where two suspects allegedly approached the victim while he was walking alone. The suspects reportedly pinned him against a wall, searched his pockets and took cash before fleeing on foot.

No arrests have been made.

The Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC) has compiled an image of an individual police believe may have information relevant to the investigation. It is unclear whether the person is a suspect or a potential witness.

The police are urging anyone with information to contact investigators on 073 704 9403 or the Crime Stop hotline on 08600 10111.
