Mimosa Mall is rolling out the red carpet once again for one of its most popular signature events − the Central Star Talent Competition.
Now in its third year, Central Star has grown into one of the largest talent showcases in Central South Africa, drawing gifted performers from across the Free State. Following the success of the 2023 and 2024 editions, the stage is set for another unforgettable celebration of creativity and community spirit.
Entries are officially open, and the invitation is clear: This is your moment to shine.
The competition is open to all ages and all talents, and there are no entry fees. Singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, comedians, and anyone with a unique skill are encouraged to step into the spotlight.
“This is more than just a talent show. Central Star is a space where inspiration, recognition, and fun come together to create a memorable experience for everyone involved,” says Neelofar Issa, general manager of Mimosa Mall.
At stake is the grand prize: a R20 000 Mimosa Mall shopping voucher.

■ The top 30 live auditions are held on 20 September at Mimosa Mall.
■ The top 20 are announced on 26 September on Mimosa Mall’s social media platforms.
■ Public voting runs from
26 September to 12 October.
■ The top ten is revealed on
13 October.
■ The final live show is held on 25 October in the Mimosa Mall main atrium.
