On Sunday, 8 June, members of the Welkom Classic Car Club had a social braai at their shared clubhouse at the Riebeeckstad Bowling Club. The day was made extra special as Manie Jackson, well-known South African singer, was invited to perform at the event. Jackson − who enjoys gold, triple gold, and platinum status as an entertainer − is also a writer. His performances appeal to both old and young.
