Bultfontein detectives are investigating the murder of Masikane David Moletsane, 59, who was fatally shot inside his vehicle near his home in Phahameng on Thursday 2 April at approximately 19:00.
Police found Moletsane unres-ponsive in the driver’s seat of his white Suzuki Fronx with a fatal gunshot wound to his neck. According to investigators, he had been parking vehicles in his garage when his wife and daughter heard two gunshots and discovered the driver’s window had been shattered.

Emergency services personnel declared him dead at the scene. The killing has shocked the local community, where such violent incidents are relatively uncommon.
Detectives are pursuing various lines of inquiry to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made and the motive remains unclear.
