Police are investigating the murder of a 46-year-old man who was shot dead outside a lounge in Doorn, Welkom, on Saturday night.
Pitso Jonas Motaung was killed at about 22:30 on 25 April after he briefly went to his car and was walking back to the establishment.
Police said two African males were seen approaching Motaung before three gunshots were heard. He was found lying motionless in the street with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
His brother identified him at the scene. Emergency services personnel declared him dead.
Two suspects fled the scene on foot.
The Welkom Serious and Violent Crimes detectives are investigating the murder. No arrests have been made.
