For 13 weeks, until 26 November, The Kingdom Ministries in Dagbreek, Welkom, will be running a Grief Share course for people who have lost someone in death to help them along their grief journey. The course can be attended on Wednesdays at 18:30 at the church, on the corner of Arrarat and Tempest streets. For registration, costs or more information, contact the church office on 057 3534283 or Liz Botha on 079 017 0600. People can still join up to three weeks once the course has started.

11 September

Danceterio presents the Random Arts Show with special guests Welkom Drama and Music Club. It will be held at the old Thabong Arts Centre (Lejweleputswa Arts and Culture Centre) behind the old Phillip Smit building (Thabong Community Centre). Performances will include poetry, music, monologues and dance. Donnovan from Virgina (DM Promotions) will be bringing some of his singers to perform on Saturday. Entrance is free and the show will take place from 15:00 to 17:00.

13 September

The Welkom Drama and Music Club will be performing at the Welkom Publicity Association’s Heritage Market at Rovers Squash Club from 10:00 to 12:00, and entry is free. Club members will perform items of music, poetry, dance and children’s stories. Singers from Esri-Q Entertainment and singers of DM Promotions (Virginia) will be performing and models from R-Models (Welkom) will give a 10-minute modelling show. Dial 075 170 5911.
