For 13 weeks until 26 November, The Kingdom Ministries in Dagbreek, Welkom, will be running a Grief Share course for people who have lost someone in death to help them in their grief journey. The course will take place every Wednesday at 18:30 at the church, on the corner of Arrarat and Tempest streets. Anyone is welcome to join the course. For registration, costs or more information, contact the church office on 057 3534283 or Liz Botha on 079 017 0600. People can still join the group up to 3 weeks, once the course has started.
5 September
Die Vrystaat-versorging in aksie bied ‘n Nag-gholf-geleentheid by die Wesselsbron-gholfklub aan.
Dit kos R1500 per vierbal (maksimum 20 spanne).

6 September
Die NG Kerk Dagbreek hou weer sy Lentefees. Tradisionele kerrie-en-rys, hamburgers, worsrolle, poeding, koeldrank, koeke, pannekoek, braaivleis, koffie en tee sal te koop wees. Vermaak vir oud en jonk en skyfskiet en ‘n tombola-tafel sal ook daar wees. Rig navrae aan Piet Botha by 082 491 4052.
7 September
The St Dominic’s Spring Day fete will take place at the church. Part of the days activities will include a modelling competition, and entries will be accepted until 12:00.
Entrants to bring a head and shoulder picture of themselves with the entry form and R50. There will be mouthwatering food, sweets and drinks stalls. There will also be other entertainment, a jumping castle and other stalls.
13 September
Ventersburg Ouetehuis hou ‘n geldinsamelingsprojek. Kom geniet ‘n heerlike aand saam met Nico Nel, Tiny van Rensburg, Rudo Schwim en Band. Dit begin om 18:00 by die NG Kerksaal Ventersburg. Toegang is R250 per persoon en sluit in ‘n skaapkop- en hoenderete. Kaartjies is by die Nasina-ouetehuis beskikbaar. Skakel 057 651 4660 of Dr Piet van Wyk se spreekkamer 057 651 4620 met navrae.
