Kleinvlei police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down the killers of two young people in Eerste River on Tuesday 21 July.

One wounded

According to Captain FC van Wyk, the shooting took place at approximately 08:50 at a premises in Feynenoord Street, Dennemeer, where two men, aged 17 and 18, were fatally wounded and a 16-year-old was injured.

“Kleinvlei police have registered two counts of murder and one of attempted murder. Both deceased sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies, and died on the scene as a result of their injuries. The injured victim was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment,” says Van Wyk.

Van Wyk says the victims were standing at the address when four unidentified men walked up to them and opened fire. “The motive is believed to be gang-related. Anyone with information about this incident is kindly requested to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” says Van Wyk.
