City Praise returns to Cape Town City Hall on Sunday 30 August, with performances at 14:00 and 17:00.

Origin South Africa will host the worship event in association with Radio Tygerberg, featuring their band, orchestra and the Cape Town Gospel Choir.

Founded in 2010, the choir has performed across Cape Town, from Guguletu to Constantia and Durbanville, alongside artists such as Rouchelle Liedemann and Neville D, and groups including the Tygerberg City Choir, Joyful Harmonies, the Guguletu Tenors and the Cape Town Philharmonic.

Liedemann and Jean-Pierre Lishman will lead the worship. Liedemann launched her professional music career at 18 after winning a national singing competition, has recorded four gospel albums, often works with the Cape Town Gospel Choir and is a presenter on Radio Tygerberg.
