After surrendering to the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks), two men and two companies have been charged with fraud, forgery, uttering, and corruption.
Several employees at the Kamiesberg Local Municipality in the Northern Cape, as well as company directors, were arrested for alleged fraud, corruption, and money laundering.
The Northern Cape is projected as the new growth front for South Africa with resources boosting energy and agriculture, said premier, Dr Zamani Saul.
