The sibling duo from Koos Sadie Primary School Clinton and Hillary Djomo represented the Western Province Karate Team from 9 – 11 August at the SA Nationals, which was held in Bloemfontein.
Clinton, who is in Grade 7, competed in the 13-14 year group and won three medals:
- silver for Kumite;
- bronze for Unison and
- bronze for Bunkai.
Hillary, who is in Grade 5, competed in the 12-13 year group and won two medals:
- silver for Unison and
- bronze for Bunkai.
Koos Sadie Primary School is extremely proud of these two learners. “Their hard work truly paid off!”
