Bergrivier Municipality added a brand new R1,2 million fire truck to its fleet within the Fire and Disaster Management Unit in April.
Noel Williams, Head of Fire and Disaster Management, mentioned that the arrival of this state-of-the-art fire truck highlights the municipality’s significant investment in the safety and well-being of its communities.
The fire truck is equipped with two water pumps, 2 000F water-storage tank and a wide range of tools, which will certainly enhance the Fire and Disaster Management’s ability to respond swiftly to emergencies.
“This is our commitment to ensuring we deliver the highest level of service and protection to our residents within the Bergrivier municipal area.”
