Eunice High School proudly celebrates Matric learner and 1st Team hockey star Taheera Augousti, who has reached an extraordinary milestone — her 50th international cap for South Africa. Representing her country in the Green and Gold against India, Taheera continues to inspire with her dedication and talent.
The South African Women’s Hockey Team is currently competing at the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup in Belgium and the Netherlands, where Taheera’s presence is a testament to her hard work and perseverance.
Taheera Augousti’s journey has been remarkable: in 2022, in Grade 11, she shared her dream of representing her country—a dream she has fulfilled many times. In 2023, she earned her 100th cap for Eunice High School and represented South Africa at the Junior World Cup in Chile. In 2024, she proudly wore the Green and Gold at the Paris Olympic Games.
Today, Taheera stands as a role model for her peers and a beacon of achievement for Eunice High School. Eunice is incredibly proud of you, Taheera— the Eunice sisterhood is behind you all the way, cheering for you and the team!
