St Charles College, Pietermaritzburg, proudly hosted its annual Speech Night 2026. It is one of the most anticipated highlights of the school calendar. The Samukele Khumalo Arena was once again transformed into a magnificent venue, setting the stage for an evening of celebration and reflection on the Saints community’s achievements.

The Matric Class of 2026 took pride of place before the stage. Surrounded by peers, staff, and families, they savoured the final formal function of their school careers. A memorable highlight of the evening was the address delivered by Head Boy, James Dickason. His reflections offered a heartfelt glimpse into the spirit, camaraderie, and cherished memories of his years at St Charles College.

The evening also marked the announcement of the 2027 Prefects and Council Leaders. We extend warm congratulations to all those selected, with special recognition to the top five chosen to represent the College: Dane Allardice (Head Boy), Unesuelihle Shabalala, Prezlin Govender, Dylan Leppan, and Will Rhodes.
