Three girls from the Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School debating squad, Arya Pillay, Lihle Gama and Calista Potter, were selected for a national tournament in December 2020. The girls worked diligently during preparation sessions that took place every weekend leading up to the tournament.
Arya achieved the following special awards: Junior bronze certificate, 3rd Best Speaker in the KZN team (Grade 8) and Lihle received a Senior Bronze certificate.
