Paarl Girls High School congratulates Joné Groenewald on her outstanding performances at the South African Youth Championships held in Shongweni from 27 June to 5 July 2026.

With Happy Victory WS, Joné achieved:

• Overall Junior Preliminary Victor Ludorum
• Junior Preliminary Freestyle South African Champion
• Western Cape Junior Showing Team – 2nd overall (Interprovincial)
• Western Cape Junior Dressage Team – 2nd overall (Interprovincial)

With Fijnbosch Frangelica, she:

• Represented the Western Cape in Pony Rider Showing – 3rd overall (Interprovincial)
• Represented the Western Cape in Pony Rider Open Dressage – 3rd overall (Interprovincial)
• Achieved a personal best score in Elementary Freestyle

Congratulations also to Isabella Swart, who competed at the SANESA Qualifiers 1.4 with Ibra Star. She earned selection to the Cape Metro Regional Team in the 70cm Show Jumping classes.
