National Afrikaans Competition. Camps Bay High School achieved an impressive second place in the Western Cape among participating state schools in the National Afrikaans Competition “Die Afrikaanse Nasionale Kompetisie: Tweede Taal (Dankie Junior 2024).”
This year, 31 of Camps Bay’s Grade 8 and 9 learners participated in the competition, joined close to 1000 learners from 46 schools across South Africa.
The Camps Bay learners delivered outstanding individual performances:
- Gold (Top 5%): Ulfah Bassier and Christen Rass (Grade 9)
- Silver (Top 10%): Toccara Bailey (Grade 9)
- Bronze (Top 15%): Nihaal Johaar (Grade 9)
