Hilton College, KwaZulu‑Natal, proudly celebrates its 1st Water Polo Team. The team successfully defended their title at the prestigious Clifton Tournament this past weekend.
After a demanding pool stage, Hilton found their rhythm in the knockout rounds, overcoming St John’s College in the quarter‑final and Affies in the semi‑final. Their resilience set the stage for a thrilling final against Kearsney College.
Dramatic Penalty Shootout Victory
With the score level at full time, Hilton held their nerve in a tense penalty shootout to secure victory — and with it, back‑to‑back Clifton Tournament titles.
Individual Excellence Recognised
Special congratulations go to Lwango Ntantala, whose outstanding performances earned him the accolade of Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
This triumph reflects the team’s determination, skill, and composure under pressure. Hilton College commends the players and coaching staff for their exceptional achievement and for once again flying the school’s banner high.
