As the World Rowing Under 19 Championships get underway in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, DSG Makhanda sends its very best wishes to Mila. She has been selected to represent South Africa on the world stage.
She competes alongside her doubles partner, Ntsako Shipalana. Mila will take on the world’s best junior rowers in what is sure to be an unforgettable experience. DSG Makhanda also wishes their coach, Lebohang Mashigo, every success as they guide the team through the competition.
To wear the green and gold is an incredible honour, and we know you will represent South Africa, your schools and the rowing community with pride, determination and courage.
