Bishops Diocesan College, Cape Town, proudly celebrates Grade 11 golfer Arman Patel. Arman travelled to Scotland in August to compete in the St Andrews Boys Open. It is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event.

The tournament was held from 3–6 August 2026 across the renowned Eden and Old Courses at St Andrews. It is also one of the world’s most prestigious junior competitions. Featuring elite U18 golfers from across Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond, the event indeed offers invaluable international exposure and ranking opportunities.

Bishops Golfer Arman Patel’s qualification and participation in this championship reflect his dedication, talent, and hard work. Competing at the “Home of Golf” is a rare honour. His presence among the world’s best juniors reflects both his personal commitment and the strength of Bishops’ sporting tradition.
