Athletics City vs Hostel. What an incredible day for Grey College, filled with energy, excitement, and team spirit! From sprints to long jumps, every student gave it their all at the Athletics City vs Hostel.

A big congratulations to everyone who participated! A special mention goes to the following top achievers who set new records:

U14 Athletes:

• Ruben Smit: 100H – 13.22s and 100m – 11.25s
• Wian Bredenkamp: Discus – 51.95m and Hammer Throw – 42.03m

U15 Athletes:

• Jayden Els: 100m – 11.13s
• Nico Pretorius: Triple Jump – 12.20m

U16 Athletes:

• Jurgen Nortje: 800m – 1:58.59
• City A Relay Team : 44.68s

The hostels walked away with the honors, earning a total tally of 1,449 points compared to City’s 996.
