Five major school rugby festivals concluded on Monday following three days of competitive action over the Easter long weekend.
Pretoria Boys High, St Stithians, St John’s, KES and Kearsney hosted teams from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Namibia and Zimbabwe across the extended weekend.
The tournaments produced several standout performances, including Westville’s commanding 83-0 victory over Framesby and Wynberg’s 84-0 demolition of Garsfontein Invitational XV.
International visitors featured prominently, with Australian side Nudgee defeating Grey College 29-26 on Thursday before falling 17-12 to Hilton on Saturday. New Zealand’s Westlake finished strongly with a 42-8 victory over Randburg on Monday.
