CAPE TOWN – The journey to the 2027 Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon officially got underway this week, with entries opening exclusively to Yellow and Blue Number Club (BNC) members.

Eligible members have until 22:00 on Wednesday 22 July to enter during this special early-access period and secure their place at the world’s most beautiful marathon.

“The opening of the Yellow and BNC entry window is an important milestone as we begin the journey towards race day,” says Chris Goldschmidt, chairperson of the Two Oceans Marathon NPC.

“This exclusive opportunity recognises the commitment and loyalty of runners who have supported and become part of the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon, powered by BYD, over the years. We are delighted to welcome these valued members back as we start the countdown to another memorable edition of the world’s most beautiful marathon.”

Official countdown

Wade Bromfield, event director, says the opening of entries signals the official beginning of the road to race day.

“The Yellow and BNC entry window is the first significant step towards the 2027 Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon,” says Bromfield.

“We encourage all eligible members to make use of this dedicated entry period and secure their spot early. Although preparations have been underway behind the scenes for some time, officially opening entries brings a renewed sense of excitement.

“We look forward to welcoming our loyal Yellow and BNC members back to the journey and seeing them on the start line next April.”

The event will be held on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 April 2027.
