Prince Harry has revealed his children are adjusting well to their new school in England, weeks after the family returned to the United Kingdom.

The Duke of Sussex spoke to CTV News in Canada on Friday following a charity skydive near Toronto to raise funds for two veterans’ organizations.

“The kids are happy in school and it gives me a chance to really focus on the Invictus Games,” Harry said, referring to the sporting event for wounded veterans scheduled for Birmingham in July 2027.

Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, relocated their family back to Britain last month after spending six years in the United States. The couple left their roles as working royals in 2020 amid family tensions.

British media reports say the couple enrolled Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet (5) at a new school shortly after their return due to security worries. Hello! magazine reported that the distance to the original school and heavy traffic along the route created safety concerns for the family.

The Sussexes now live in the Cotswolds region of central England, according to reports.

During the Canadian interview, Harry said it felt “great to be back on British soil”, despite conducting the interview in Canada.

Recent visits to the UK suggest Harry has repaired his relationship with his father, King Charles III, who continues treatment for cancer. However, sources say Harry remains on poor terms with his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Catherine.

The family’s return to England marks a significant shift after their controversial departure in 2020, which included a high-profile interview detailing their struggles within the royal institution.

Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 to support wounded, injured and sick service members and veterans through adaptive sports.
