Mount Road police are looking for the relatives of an unknown woman whose body was found lying on the side of the road on the M4 Settlers Freeway, North End on Saturday, October 29.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, the body was discovered at about 06:20.
“The woman had visible injuries; however, no one could provide any information relating to her death,” said Janse Van Rensburg.
“Police are now investigating a case of culpable homicide and urge anyone with information to contact SAPS Mount Road on 041 394 6243 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station or send information via MYSAPSAPP. All information received will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous,” said Janse van Rensburg.
