The WESSA Algoa Bay Branch will host another alien clearing on Saturday, August 12, at Sardinia Bay from 09:00 to 11:00.
The drive to stem the spread of the Rooikrans alien invader in the beautiful Sardinia Bay Conservancy continues.
This invasive species is still seriously threatening the sensitive indigenous bush.
The objective is to eradicate these alien plants and give the local vegetation a good chance to recover and re-establish itself.
Bring a bow saw or lopper if possible, as well as a hat, water and gloves.
Meet at the Sardinia Bay car park.
