Water tanker locations for areas affected by disruption

UPDATE ON WATER DISRUPTION IN SOME PARTS OF NELSON MANDELA BAY:

Water tankers will be situated in the following areas:

1) Builder Warehouse, Walmer Heights

2) Glendore Road, New Development 

3) Allan Drive, Mangold Park

4) Greenacres Hospital and Mall

5) Greenshields Park, Prestwick Crescent 

Water tankers can be found across Nelson Mandela Bay in the areas that are affected by water disruptions.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform
residents that water supply at the Emerald Hill reservoir is still very low
this morning (Saturday, May 8).

Parts of Nelson Mandela Bay will be experiencing water
disruptions over the weekend.

“We had hoped that it would pick up overnight, but it is
still struggling. Overnight, the reservoir’s level increased from 2% to 3%,” a
municipality statement read.

“We anticipate water disruption over the weekend based on
this trend.”

The following areas will be affected:

Walmer Heights

Charlo

Greenshields

Walmer Downs

Fairview

Fern Glen

Newton park

Greenacres
