As temperatures drop, the call for kindness rises. The Community Chest Winter Woolly Drive is collecting warm clothing, blankets and any other winter essentials to help those in need stay warm.
The Kelway Hotel are proudly serving as an official drop-off point. They are offering a free warm beverage, your choice of cappuccino, latte, Americano or tea.
“This is our way of thanking the public for their kind generosity and helping us share the warmth this winter,” said Liezel Haarhoff, General Manager of The Kelway Hotel.
“The challenge to help everyone is huge, and we keep pushing, ensuring that many more will receive through our drive,” added Community Chest CEO Selwyn Willis.
Every jersey, blanket or beanie donated is a step closer to making someone’s winter a little more bearable. Other drop-off points in the Nelson Mandela Bay can be found at all the Pick n Pay stores, Boardwalk Mall, Baywest Mall and Walmer Park Shopping Centre.
