Walmer Masters set their sights on the league trophy as they are the current log leaders on the Nelson Mandela Bay Masters & Legends Association League table.
With only one game left, Walmer have an unassailable league lead. As things stand, the Walmer side are league winners. Out of the 33 games they have played, Walmer have accumulated 73 league points. They await the day that they will be given a league trophy.
The race for second position is still hot. The second-placed side, VW Masters, have played the same number of games as Walmer Masters, but they collected 64 league points. If third-placed AmaUnits can win their last two league games, then they will finish the season in second place on the league table.
As AmaUnits have 63 league points, they would collect 69 points from 34 games, while VW would finish the season in third place with 67 points, if they win their last game.
The three tail enders had the worst season since it started. Port Elizabeth Eleven Masters, or PE Eleven as they are known, are on the bottom of log table as they only collected 31 league points from 33 games they played. Winners, who are second from the bottom of the log table, have secured 20 league points from 31 league outings.
The last side on the bottom of log table, Bay Masters, have also salvaged 20 league points after they played 33 games.
