Two men were shot and injured while standing on Bongo Street in Helenvale, on Sunday, June 8.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, reported that a private vehicle transported them to Livingstone Hospital.
“The victims, a 27-year-old and 31-year-old were allegedly standing in the street when suspects fired shots at them.
“The 27-year-old was wounded in his hip and the 31-year-old was wounded in his right leg,”Beetge explained.
Police have opened cases of attempted murder, which are now under investigation by the SAPS Gelvandale .
