It’s Brandwag vs Daniel Pienaar in a Classic Clashes game this Saturday.

Daniel Pienaar will have to make full use of their home ground advantage when facing up to Brandwag on Saturday.

Brandwag has been putting in some fine rugby performances recently and will start as the favourite to win this Kariega derby.

As always, with these derbies, previous results won’t count for much and an entertaining match awaits the spectators.

DP beat Otto du Plessis 27-10 in their last match and Brandwag won very convincingly (15-0) this past Saturday against Queen’s College at the Selborne Festival in East London.

Grey will also be involved in a derby, at home in Gqeberha, against Wynberg, another match that should be great to watch.

Nico Malan will be at home against Pearson in what should be a very interesting encounter.

After a busy recent schedule, Framesby will take a break this coming weekend.

They found it tough against the strong Garsfontein outfit on the first day of the Wildeklawer tournament in Kimberley.

Garsfontein won 43-15, scoring seven tries against one, but Framesby put up a brave effort.

Fullback Jayden Davisson was outstanding and the halfback pairing of Zack Serfontein and Logan Muller tried their best under enormous pressure. Davisson scored Framesby’s try, beating five defenders in the process.

Framesby won their second match in Kimberley on Monday morning when they beat Welkom Gymnasium 24-7.
