Many have visited the Christmas Craft Market over the years, which is now 28-years-old. It was originally held in the Walmer Town Hall until Covid hit, which then saw it moved to a smaller venue, the St Bernadette’s Church Hall, also in Walmer.

Over the years the market has grown to such an extent it even has a waiting list, and about half the vendors have been with the market for many years; each year bringing something new.

It is exciting and quite anxious for the market as they greet new vendors and new products, which raise anticipation for customers looking to see and buy their gifts on the opening day, Thursday, November 23, at 11:00.

Both Thursday and Friday (24th) run until 19:00 each evening. On Saturday (25th) the market opens at 08:00 and closes at 15:00.

This year the market will again take place at the Old Grey Club hall in Glendinningvale, for the third consecutive time.

The hall will be decked out with a wonderful variety of traditional and trendy handcrafted Christmas Gifts, decorations, home décor, nibbles and spoils at super affordable prices, all to be found at the tables of the 61 vendors.

The market has a tradition of supporting local handcrafters, artists, bakers and those who take great joy and pride in their work.

This is a market not to be missed!
