The body of a 17-year-old girl was found hanging from a powerline in Schauderville yesterday, Sunday, March 6.
Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that the girl, from Dinsmore Road, was found hanging in the bushes at the corners of Ferreira and Gelvan Streets at approximately 07:15.
“According to information, it is alleged that she was last seen in the morning at about 01:00 at a friend’s home in Dinsmore Road,” Naidu said.
“No foul play is suspect and an inquest docket is opened,” she added.
