A 17-year-old boy was stabbed after an unknown man demanded the boy’s cellphone in Mill Park on Saturday, May 11.
Police spokesperson, Captain Beetge, said that at about 16:45, a 17-year-old male was standing in Bowling Road, Mill Park, when a suspect vehicle stopped next to him.
“The driver of the vehicle got out and demanded the cell phone of the victim.
“He stabbed the victim with a knife, took the cell phone, and drove off again,” said Beetge.
A case of robbery has been opened with SAPS Humewood and will be investigated by SAPS Mount Road.
