A teenage girl was watching TV at her home in Colleen Glen at the weekend when four men broke into the house and accosted her with several weapons.
At approximately 22:00 on Friday evening, the 17-year-old complainant was watching TV when she heard footsteps. Four men approached her and one was armed with a firearm, a panga and a stick.
Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that a TV set, two laptops and jewellery were taken. “Entry was gained through the sliding door in one of the bedrooms. The incident took place on a plot in Seaview Road in Colleen Glen,” Naidu said.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
