ON Youth Day, Friday June 16, the Ward 10 office will host a talent show for the community’s youth.
The show will be held on the grounds of Woolhope Secondary School in Saliehout Street in Malabar, from 09:00.
Councillor for ward 10, Lenny Moodley, said that the purpose of the talent show is to empower the youth in the area.
“Many are faced with, and affected by, challenges such as gangsterism, drugs, suicide, bullying, teenage pregnancy and more. Many youths have talent and can channel this talent in a positive way. This is an empowerment show to encourage our youth to build a better and brighter future.”
