Entry closes tomorrow, 31 July. The top 25 participants stand a chance to win bursaries, cash prizes and gifts worth approximately R500 000.
Matric learners who excel in academics, culture, sport and leadership, and who plan to study at the UFS next year, are invited to enter.
“In a country facing diverse challenges, this competition reassures young people that their background or circumstances do not define their future.”
This competition, presented by the University of the Free State (UFS) and Novus Media, helps matric learners develop the qualities they need to succeed.
“The competition improved my self-confidence. It taught me to trust my abilities and to be proud of my achievements, hard work, and personality.”
Matriculants from across the country who are leaders and achievers in academics, culture and sport, and who plan to study at the UFS next year, can enter.
