SEVEN Sundowns Sports Club collected three vital points in their 2-1 victory over Real City, to end their drought in their Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) First Division League clash, at Motherwell NU 6 Sports Grounds on Saturday.

Sundowns threw everything into the game. Siyamthanda Pantsi scored the opening goal, after he received a perfect pass from Mandilakhe Meke.

The yellow and green side’s strikers wasted many clear-cut chances in front of City’s goals. City’s equaliser was scored by Aphumle Mqinta from the penalty spot.

City came up strongly but Vuyolwethu Charlse, Sakhile Sinam and goalkeeper, Mava Klaas, did not give City any scoring chances.

In the last moments of the game, Pantsi drew City’s central defender and the goalkeeper close to him and supplied a perfect pass to Aqhama Mpendu, who scored the winning goal.

Despite their 3-0 loss to Arsenal FC, Future Stars played exciting football. Arsenal’s big striker, Luyanda ‘Heavy’ Tinise, scored his side’s opening goal from a penalty spot. Tinise who is Arsenal’s leading goal scorer, increased his goal tally to three, following his two world class goals.

Valencia’s unbeaten record came to abrupt end, following their 3-1 loss to Royal Bucks in their MOFA Premier League clash at Motherwell NU11 Stadium on Saturday. Bucks are currently on top of the log.
