Melissa Butler, comfortable in her job as a personal assistant in a law firm, began to realise that there was something missing in her working life.
‘I needed the opportunity to positively impact other people, to make a difference. I also wanted to travel and have more freedom in my lifestyle. I also wondered how I would cope if I had children.’
The belief grew slowly. Then one day it happened. Looking out over the manicured lawns outside the building from her comfortable office, she decided to change her working life.
The decision was prompted by a call from a friend asking if she would be interested in starting a side-line business to earn extra income. The idea of joining the worldwide NeoLife organisation entered Melissa’s mind for the first time. She did her homework.

‘I believed in the NeoLife brand and business model. I also decided that I had the ability and committed to do whatever was needed to succeed. Nothing was going to stop me.’
She dived into the NeoLife training.
‘They gave me extensive training and personal development, which continues to this day. I receive ongoing mentorship to ensure that I am successful in my small business. The backup is amazing – the company gives distributors a personalised website and mobile app and provides warehousing, marketing, logistics and training backup. This allows me to focus on the key income-generating aspects of my business.’
Melissa subsequently had children and found that the NeoLife working arrangement is perfect for a busy mother.

Melissa is growing in so many ways. ‘My mission is to empower ordinary women like myself to believe in themselves enough to do what it takes to change their lives. If you believe in yourself, your life will change. Not overnight, but it will change.’

‘To me it means freedom, more choices and living a life of excitement. I would never change it, I’m having too much fun.’
