GQ Premier Events, in collaboration with their valued partners and sponsors – the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture (DSAC), Bay FM, and Coca-Cola will be hosting the Rhythmic Freedom Festival taking place at the Fairview Sports Centre in Willow Road, Lorraine on Friday 15 November and Saturday 16 November.
Event organisers say the weekend’s activities aim to showcase Gqeberha’s creative spirit, while supporting local artists and community growth.
The audience can look forward to a stellar lineup featuring local and national musicians, dynamic dance performances, and a high school art competition which will be curated by internationally renowned visual artist and judge, Farook Mohammed.
Among the artists who will be performing are: Junior King, Meneer Cee, Boeta B, Brato, Chevandré Lakfit Janjies, Devin Kenty, DJ Please, Jannine Tame, Jocelyn Scholtz, Miss Mona, Modilia, Mojazz, Rushnee Philander, and Shaido MeinO.
The festival will also include food stalls offering local and international cuisine, craft stalls, and a family-friendly area with activities for all ages, making it a true celebration of unity and artistic expression.
“We aim to bring people together to celebrate freedom, culture, and artistic talent,” said the festival’s organisers(need a name and surname here please).
