Police in Kabega Park are investigating an Inquest after the skeletal remains of a man were found in bushes near an informal settlement in Greenbushes at the weekend.
It is alleged that at about 11:15 on Sunday, March 27, children
were playing in the bushes near Zwelindinga Informal Settlement in Greenbushes
when they stumbled upon the skeleton. Police suspect that the person may have
died about six months ago.
Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that neatly packed wood was lying next to deceased man. “He was attired in a yellow T-shirt, khaki pants and a brown/khaki belt.
His Converse black and white takkies and two black beanies were lying next to
him. He is about 1,6m in height,” she said.
Anyone who can assist police in identifying the deceased through
his clothing or know of anyone who may have gone to collect wood or been missing for a long time, is asked to contact SAPS
