The Hawks have confirmed that a second kidnapping victim, a businessman from Gqeberha, was reunited with his family in the early hours of January 26.
As previously reported by the PE Express, the businessman was kidnapped in Sidwell on January 18 from his business, where five armed suspects used a black BMW with an unknown registration plate to commit the crime.
According to Hawks spokesperson Avele Fumba, since the incident, Hawks teams have worked tirelessly in the search for the victim.

“Due to the sensitivity of the ongoing investigation, further details cannot be disclosed at this stage,” Fumba added.
“We continue to appeal to anyone with information related to these incidents to come forward and report to the police. Any piece of information, no matter how small, may be crucial in ensuring justice is served,” he urged.
This comes days after a businessman from Korsten was also reunited with his family last week.
