Grey High had a solid second half but the visitors from Bloemfontein were way too strong in their traditional annual clash at the Kolisi Field in Gqeberha on Saturday.

In the first half Grey College scored six tries but took the foot off the pedal in the second half. After leading 38-0 at half-time, Grey College eventually won 48-15.

Grey College added another two tries in the second stint but the home side fought back with three of their own.

Pearson is having a great season and a rare away win against Marlow in Cradock on Saturday was another special day for the Gqeberha outfit.

This was an absolute nail-biter but Pearson showed a cool head to win 26-24.
